Photography Restoration Services

The wost enemy of photos is time. Today, digital cameras enable us to keep our pictures on a cd or hard drive without having to worry about their future quality. Although hard drives and cds themselves can be damaged, it is easy to guarantee our pictures survival by duplicating them onto different medias.

But what about those older pictures, the ones that time has faded, torn, discolored, the ones that are stained, scratched or even ripped apart? DebonStudio Web Design can resuscitate those irreplaceable pictures. All we need is the picture itself or a digital copy with a large resolution (at least 300 dpi, preferably 600 dpi). If you choose to send us the original photography, we will generate a high quality copy to work with and will return it to you completely unaltered. But most of the time, people don't want to part with they originals. Even if it is unlikely, they could get lost in the mail or be damaged somehow.

If you don't have the ability to make high resolution digital copies of your originals, there are different ways to create them:
- If you have a friend who has a scanner, ask him/her to make a scan of your originals (min 300dpi)
- Go to a one hour photo shop and have them do it.
- Go to a specialized shop (Office max, Kinkos, etc...) and have them do it.
Then just send us the digital copies by email.

Rates and Pricing

Minor Restoration: $35

Repair non-critical areas, including background and edge areas, correct color, resize, extend/crop background to fit standard formats for prints, as needed.

Moderate Restoration: $60

Corrections above, plus repair to critical areas such as damage to faces or other complex images.

Major Restoration: $80 and up

Major overall damage, recreate major portions of faces, other body parts, animals, etc.

Manipulate/Modify/Combine: $50

Combine two images or remove large section (things like adding or subtracting one or more people, blending backgrounds, etc...).

Colorize: $25

Without people/faces.

Colorize: $40

with people/faces.

Tint: $20

Prints:

4" x 6" $4.95 each.
5" x 7" $9.95 each.
8" x 10" $14.95 each.

Compact Disk: $3
